Gabriel Tamas Such a great dark/neo-folk song. The themes and lyrics are simply sublime and can make one reflect upon one's own life, even though, from what I understand, this particular song has a great deeper meaning for the author as well. The vocals, almost mournful at times fit the aesthetic of the song perfectly and the melodies are just as haunting and mystical. On another hand, the cover artwork is brilliantly shot and it completes the whole theme of the song perfectly.

Our time in this life is always fleeting warm and yet defeating like a sparrow flies through the mead hall when we go, for we know nothing at all A break in the spell as Bede once wrote those gentle flickers of warm light to contrast the unknown aspects of this age old dark and cold This life is all, we have but one though pieces of you fall, you must carry on for until death plays us our final song we are never truly gone And through the mists he calls my name that Lord who carried a banner of flame that part of me who dared to hope came close and spoke, "I see a boar on the horizon I see a boar cresting my burial mound I see a boar standing where our kingdom would have been I see a boar cresting my burial mound" Tethered to this mortal coil yet free we are to shape this world we'll leave for our lives are just spells which weave the tapestry So let the blood run forth cascading and twisting until times end from the mountains towards the ancient shore Eofor will sing me my death song now For this life is all, we have but one though pieces of you fall, you must carry on for until death plays us our final song we are never truly gone And through the mist he calls my name that Lord who carried a banner of flame that part of me who dared to hope came close and spoke, "I see a boar on the horizon I see a boar cresting my burial mound I see a boar standing where our kingdom would have been I see a boar cresting my burial mound" So break my heart and mock my flame for to you this precious life was just a game so break my heart and mock my flame there are things within us all we cannot change (and I wont be blamed) For I see a boar on the horizon I see a boar cresting my burial mound I see a boar standing where our kingdom would have been built I see a boar, his name is Eofor."
